The best place to find dissertations is in our Dissertations and Theses database: http://libguides.cu-portland.edu/dissertations

A search in this database for "college readiness" yielded 534 results. To look for more specific dissertations, you will want to add in other keywords. Here's just one example of how to do this: https://www.screencast.com/t/gXO1sPjMb. This search yielded 131 results.

To create alerts or save your searches, you'll need to set up a separate account with the database itself. Here's where you can find the tool to create alerts in this database: https://www.screencast.com/t/7foaypzzw

For other articles on this topic in addition to dissertations, I would suggest searching ERIC and OneSearch (the library catalog). The alert system for ERIC is the same as for the dissertations database.

OneSearch also allows you to set up alerts and save searches. These features are found on the Search History / Saved Searches page from the drop-down menu next to your name in the upper right corner of the screen. See the screenshots below for saving a query and options for setting an alert in Onesearch.
