We're happy to help with this. Have you had a chance to start searching yet? If so, what words are you typing into the search boxes? Knowing that information can help us provide the most useful suggestions.
You can search for articles with words like:
- "educational games"
- games AND classroom
You can also look for articles about game-based learning using technology/computers by adding in keywords such as: technology, computers, iPads, tablets, Chromebooks, etc. For example:
- games AND classroom AND computers
Try searching in ERIC, OneSearch, and LearnTechLib, three different search tools which can all be found here: http://libguides.cu-portland.edu/medonline/primary/where
For peer reviewed articles, you'll want to be sure to check a box or click on a link for peer reviewed articles. Not all article results in the search tools will be peer reviewed, so you'll need to filter the results so they are all peer reviewed. We have a quick video demonstration of how to do this.
For tips for finding primary research articles, see this page: http://libguides.cu-portland.edu/medonline/primary/how. You'll see that in some searches, it can be helpful to add in another keyword like study to identify primary research articles in the results.
