During the 2014-2015 academic year, Concordia University Libraries has continued the transition from our old catalog system to a fully implemented shared catalog that draws upon data sources from the Orbis Cascade Alliance’s 37 member libraries. The integration of Summit requesting into Search@CULibraries is the latest development in this process.
In the past, users were required to log into another system in order to complete a Summit request. As of January 20th, you can now complete your Summit requests directly within Search@CULibraries!
- Now, you can request everything from one place: items at Concordia, items from interlibrary loan, and items from Summit. (See this FAQ for more information about the process for requesting items from Summit.)
- You'll also be able to track all of your requests from the "My Account" feature of Search@CULibraries. (See this FAQ for more information about how to do that.)
Things to Remember:
- The old Summit link will no longer work as of Tuesday, January 20th.
- You'll need to sign in to Search@CULibraries in order to have the full functionality of the system for placing Summit Requests, viewing the status of your requests, etc.
