This is a known issue that our IT developers are working to fix as quickly as they can.

In the meantime, they've recommended that we use the following work-around:

    1. If you see the 404 login.do error message, click on the browser's back button twice.
    2. Click on the CU Students, Faculty, or Staff link.
    3. You should be able to complete the login process.

There's also a way to prevent the 404 login.do error message from appearing.

    1. Watch the login URL in the browser's location bar.
    2. If the login URL is the longer version, you should be able to login with an error message. The longer version of the URL will include primo_library/libweb/action/ (The shorter version will be missing that part of the URL.)
    3. If only the shorter version of the URL appears, click on the Cancel button twice.
    4. Click on the CU Students, Faculty, or Staff link.
    5. You should be able to complete the login process.

Here are some screenshots of this process.

When you see the 404 error:

Step 1: Click on the back button twice.

Step 2: Click on the CU Students, Faculty, or Staff link. You should be able to complete the login process.

To prevent the 404 login.do error from appearing, watch the length of the URL in the location bar.

Step One: If the login URL is the longer version, you should be able to login with an error message. The longer version of the URL will include primo_library/libweb/action/ If the longer version of the login URL is present, go ahead and click on the CU Students, Faculty, & Staff option.

Step Two: If only the shorter version of the URL appears (missing primo_library/libweb/action/), click on the Cancel button twice.

Step Three: Click on the CU Students, Faculty, or Staff link. You should be able to complete the login process.
