Q. How do I incorporate information from my interview participants into my dissertation?

Answer

When quoting transcribed interview data from confidential interviews with research participants, use a pseudonym to identify the speaker of the quotation.  No in-text citation or reference accompanies quoted material from confidential personal interviews.

Example

"Sarah" responded that she preferred working alone rather than with other students during in-class activities.
